How do i take the first step?
You are welcomed to book a free 15-minute virtual or phone discovery call whether you are feeling ready to start counselling, or just wanted a little more information. Please contact me at stephanieccounselling@gmail.com and I will get back to you within 1-2 business days.
During this consultation, you will have the space to briefly share your concerns and challenges. You might want to ask questions regarding the services, making sure this would fit your needs.
Once you are ready to take the next step, we will schedule an intake session.
What does an Intake Session look like?
An intake session is the first counselling session where we will meet in person or virtually.
We create space to discuss your concerns and challenges in greater detail, and make a counseling plan for the future sessions.
We will also have an opportunity to explore your counselling goals and get to know each other.
If at any point in the consultation, we realize we are not a good fit, I will make every effort to provide you with an referral to other relevant providers.
What is your Cancellation Policy like?
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please send an email to stephanieccounselling@gmail.com at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid a charge of the full fee for a missed appointment.
Do you accept insurance?
Your extended benefits provider may cover your sessions if your plan covers counseling sessions by Registered Social Worker (RSWs). Please check with them directly to confirm the coverage.
I am not able to offer direct billing at the moment, but a receipt will be provided after the session for reimbursement according to your plan.
What payment options do you offer?
Payment is due at the end of each session, and can be made using cash, cheque or e-transfer.
